Current Tour CANCELLED Due to COVID-19

To our Proscenium Club patrons

With a heavy heart, I am writing to inform you that the remainder of the 2020 Barefoot on the Moon tour is being cancelled due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. This decision was incredibly difficult to make, but the safety and health of our patrons and artists is our top priority.

We have gone through all the possible scenarios but the restrictions we face to our ability to rehearse, plus the restrictions that our venue partners face due to extended preventative measures are too great to overcome. The uncertainty of when the restrictions will be lifted, and what the world will be like when that occurs puts our audiences at too great a risk.

This does not close the door on this production forever, just for now. As you know, the Proscenium Club works year round consistently developing new works to return to your community with annually. In the absence of any certainty of what the coming months will hold, we are unable to move forward as planned with the confidence that we can deliver a production of the high standards that you and we expect.

However, we have big plans for next year and are working on a plan to not only bring our new production to life in 2021 but also return with Barefoot on the Moon to those communities that may have missed it.

Whatever the future may hold, one thing is certain, the Proscenium Club is excited to get back to the theatre and to your community- whenever that may be.

In the mean time, remember to take care of yourselves and each other.
